WHY we exist and where we want to go (The Destination)?

Synergy’s purpose is absolutely clear – To inspire students and to create individuals with strong skill-sets like problem solving, critical thinking, leadership and values like sincerity, humility, teamwork and integrity. Such individuals can learn to stand on their own feet, and then inspire and build the community around them leading to a chain reaction resulting in growth of community and the country.

Science and math are just tools to achieve our purpose. At the center of Synergy’s every decision, every input, lies the agenda on how to bring the best out of the students.

By bringing together the coaches (teachers and parents), and the players (students) we are building a cohesive team ready to learn and fight in the real game of growth and progress in life.

HOW we do what we do (The Path)?

Student Teams and Team discussions

Just like any game, all our players (students) are divided into many teams of 4-5 players each. The team members have scheduled team discussions twice a week where they discuss physics / chemistry / maths / biology assignments, analyse their test mistakes, and teach concepts to each other to learn better. These tasks help in developing communication skills, teamwork skills, leadership skills among students and develops a healthy competitive spirit and environment in which all students can learn together.

Mentorship sessions

Each student is allotted a dedicated mentor who is either a coach (faculty) or an assistant coach (our pass-out students). The mentor is responsible for not just providing academic help, but helping the students with time management, effective revision and learning techniques, building confidence, helping them to get into the right mindset and attitude.

Teaching like a Story

The purpose is not to just bombard students with facts about science and math, but a deeper understanding and an actual feel of the subject.  This is done by taking real life examples, attaching concepts to student’s daily life as well as live demonstrations in the class to explain the concept.

Having features starting from regular attendance to assignment checking feature for teachers to creating class announcements to recorded video lectures from top faculties to the Amazing test portal, it gives a one touch access to student for all his/her academic needs.

Not to mention the detailed diagnostic test reports for every student for every test, which tells about students’ strengths, weaknesses, attempt rate, accuracy, and a comparison for performance with the other batch and all India students.

Experiential Learning

“Value of Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of mind to think”

To inculcate problem solving, critical thinking and a deeper root level understanding of science and math, and to ignite the interest of students, Synergy conducts various activities and events to give the students a physical touch of the textbook concepts, and to make them learn by doing.

One such event conduct by Synergy is a day long Robotics workshop and competition where students learn about electrical circuits, make a robot and participate in a death race competition.
